PROJECT OVERVIEW 

HomeLodgers is a global rental housing marketplace, primarily targeting students and working professionals moving abroad. I collaborated with the founder and 2 other designers to develop a new landing page, and deliver UX solutions for the marketplace dashboard.

The Challenge

Students and young professionals moving abroad face difficulties in finding reliable housing. Many turn to social media platforms such as WhatsApp or Facebook housing groups and often fall prey to scams. As many booking processes have shifted online during the pandemic, online housing rental scams are at an all-time high, especially in large cities.

The Goal

Homelodgers provides a secure online platform that helps students find and book reliable accommodation abroad, safely. In addition to an online marketplace, the startup aims to enhance user experience of their product by incorporating a dashboard that serves as a centralized hub that connects renters, landlords , and potential roommates.
